Duck Poker Review
Duck Poker is a brand new independent poker room that launched in January 2014. The poker room sees a few dozen real money players during peak times, usually enough to have a few low limit No Limit Hold’em games running. We expect that as Duck Poker does more marketing, this number will continues to increase. Duck Poker also offer tables of Fixed Limit and Pot Limit Hold’em as well as Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. Sit N Gos, Multi-table tournaments and freerolls are offered at Duck Poker, with much of the players gravitating towards the hourly $10 freerolls. The low buy-in No Limit Hold’em Sit N Gos are also popular with players. Duck Poker is offering weekly guaranteed events with $250 or more in the prize pool, and a daily guaranteed tournament of $100.
This standalone poker room is not part of any poker network and separates itself from the competition with its mantra “Put players first”. Part of this includes charging players less rake and fees than any other poker room online. Duck Poker offers most poker variants through its state-of-the-art poker software from IGSoft, a software that is also used by the popular Winning Poker Network.
